So, I’m in a Social Work Practice class, focusing on working with families/groups. So far it is very interesting and somewhat intimidating. We took a popular personality test, called the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), my professor is some sort of expert on this test, and thinks it is a very helpful resource. I am an INFJ, though my F was not that far away from being a T. The rest were pretty clear. There are four categories, with sixteen possible outcomes in “type”:

How one focuses her/his attention or gets her/his energy (Extraversion or Introversion)
How one perceives or takes in information (Sensing or iNtuition)
How one prefers to make decisions (Thinking or Feeling)
How one orients herself/himself to the external world (Judgment or Perception)

My “type” accounts for, according to some sources, as “the rarest personality type.” Wow! My uniqueness is confirmed!
Anyways, wikipedia, that great source of knowedge, has broken it down more extensively and in detail.
